Google’s dropping some exciting news for its biggest fans! They’re inviting folks to apply for one of 25 exclusive spots at a special pre-release Pixel event happening on June 27. Now, Google’s playing it cool and not explicitly saying “Pixel 10,” but come on—what else could it be? The list of possibilities is pretty short.
If you’ve been keeping up, Pixel launches usually happen around early October, but last year Google shook things up by bumping the Pixel 9 series release to August. And it looks like they’re keeping that early-release vibe going. We’ve already seen the first Android 16 previews drop ahead of schedule, and the Pixel 9a launched in March—two months earlier than the Pixel 8a did the year before.
So, the idea of a late June or early July reveal for the Pixel 10 lineup? Not far-fetched at all. We’d been thinking August might be the target again, but this event suggests Google’s moving even faster. That said, there’s a chance Google’s being sneaky and has something totally different up their sleeve—not the Pixel 10. But with their recent trend of pushing release dates earlier, Pixel 10 feels like the safest guess. Or maybe this Superfan event is just a super-early sneak peek, and we’re still looking at an August launch. Either way, I’m stoked to see what’s coming—fingers crossed we get some solid details soon!
